Terms of Service
The rules for buying verified card products, completing digital reveals, and holding or shipping the physical cards you own.
Agreement and operator
These Terms of Service form a binding agreement between you and Bangers LLC, a Maryland limited liability company that operates the RipHQ brand. They govern your access to RipHQ websites, accounts, digital reveals, card custody, and shipping services.
By creating an account, purchasing a product, or using the services, you accept these Terms and the policies linked from them. If you do not agree, do not use RipHQ.
Eligibility and United States service
You must be located in the United States. RipHQ does not accept purchases or shipping addresses outside the United States. RipHQ requires purchasers of randomly assigned team-break spots to be at least 18 years old. For other trading-card products, you must have legal capacity to enter these Terms, or use RipHQ only with a parent or legal guardian who accepts these Terms on your behalf.
You may not use RipHQ where the service or a particular product is prohibited. Bangers LLC may restrict states or users to satisfy consumer-protection, sanctions, payment-provider, or other legal obligations.
The online storefront is intended only for people located in the United States. Requests from unsupported regions may receive an unavailable notice before optional analytics or advertising technologies initialize.
Randomly assigned team breaks
A team-break spot purchases one randomly assigned team at the flat price shown at checkout. You receive every card assigned to that team from the identified break. Teams can have different card counts, rarities, and market values, and no specific team or value is guaranteed.
The complete team roster is sealed before the first spot is sold. Teams are not disclosed as they are removed from the available set. Each assignment uses public randomness. Its beacon proof is available after assignment, and the complete available-set data needed for independent end-to-end verification is published after the break fills.
Team and combo cards follow the assignment rules shown on the break page. If RipHQ discovers a card assigned to the wrong team after reveal, the customer who received it keeps it; RipHQ will issue the shorted customer RipCash based on a reasonable fair-value review. We do not claw back revealed cards.
What RipHQ provides
RipHQ sells access to pre-opened physical trading-card inventory. Eligible cards are recorded, assigned to a committed product pool, and later allocated after confirmed payment using the process described on the product page. A digital reveal shows the physical cards allocated to you.
RipHQ also provides a digital vault interface and physical custody until you request shipment. RipHQ is not a marketplace, grading company, investment adviser, bank, or gambling operator. Cards cannot be cashed out, sold, or traded through RipHQ.
Accounts and security
Provide accurate information, keep your email account and authentication methods secure, and promptly report unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity conducted through your account unless applicable law provides otherwise.
One person may not operate multiple accounts to evade product limits, restrictions, or fraud controls. RipHQ may require identity or transaction verification before accepting payment, revealing cards, or releasing physical inventory.
Purchases, fees, and taxes
Prices and applicable fees are shown in United States dollars before checkout. Stripe processes payments. You authorize the displayed charge and remain responsible for applicable taxes and charges imposed by your payment provider.
You may apply available RipCash at checkout as described in the RipCash store credit section. RipCash reduces the amount charged to your payment method.
An order is not accepted until payment is confirmed and RipHQ records the order. RipHQ may cancel and refund orders affected by pricing errors, unavailable inventory, suspected fraud, legal restrictions, or failures that prevent a valid allocation.
RipCash store credit
RipCash is promotional store credit that Bangers LLC may issue at its discretion for promotions, service recovery, goodwill, or similar purposes. RipCash is provided without payment, is not sold or earned through purchases, and does not require a purchase to receive. It is not a gift card, deposit, bank balance, security, or property interest.
RipCash has no cash value and may not be redeemed or exchanged for cash or a check, transferred to another person or account, or used outside RipHQ, except where applicable law requires otherwise. One dollar of RipCash may be applied toward one dollar of an eligible RipHQ purchase. RipCash is applied before any remaining amount is charged to your payment method. RipHQ may impose redemption limits, including a minimum amount that must remain for a card payment.
A RipCash grant may have an expiration date disclosed in your account. RipCash without a stated expiration date does not expire. RipCash remaining after a disclosed expiration date is forfeited without compensation, except where prohibited by law.
If an approved refund includes an amount paid with RipCash, that portion is restored as RipCash rather than cash to the same RipCash grant or grants used for the purchase, with each retaining its original expiration date, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
RipHQ may correct or reverse RipCash issued in error. Suspected fraud, abuse, use of multiple accounts to evade limits, or another material breach of these Terms may result in forfeiture of RipCash, order cancellation, account restriction, or termination. Unused RipCash is forfeited when RipHQ terminates an account for cause, except where prohibited by law.
Bangers LLC may prospectively limit, modify, suspend, or discontinue RipCash or change how it may be redeemed. RipHQ will provide notice of material changes when required by law.
Committed inventory and random allocation
Cards in a product pool are committed before customer allocation. After payment, RipHQ uses public randomness and a verifiable allocation process to select only from the available committed set. The allocation proof is associated with the reveal.
Results vary. No particular card, rarity, condition, grade, or market value is guaranteed. Odds, checklist composition, and insert rates for a product are those set by the manufacturer for the pack or product configuration being sold. RipHQ does not alter manufacturer odds and does not publish a separate RipHQ probability table. Manufacturer disclosures may appear on packaging, checklists, or the manufacturer's website.
Some products may reference manufacturer-sponsored promotions, redemptions, or “no purchase necessary” methods of entry. Those programs are separate from RipHQ and are governed solely by the manufacturer's official rules, which may be available on the product packaging or manufacturer's website. RipHQ does not sponsor or administer those programs and does not guarantee eligibility, availability, or redemption. Unless RipHQ expressly publishes separate official rules, a manufacturer's free-entry method does not provide free access to a RipHQ product or allocation.
Card condition
Cards are provided in pack fresh condition, meaning the condition they were in when removed from the manufacturer's sealed packaging. Trading cards can leave the pack with manufacturing defects such as print lines, centering variance, surface marks, edge wear, or factory damage. RipHQ does not cause these defects, cannot detect all of them, and does not guarantee that any card is in gem mint or any other grade or condition.
RipHQ handles and stores allocated cards carefully using collector-grade practices. If RipHQ damages your card during handling or storage, RipHQ will proactively resolve the issue through a replacement of comparable value or a refund, at RipHQ's reasonable discretion and in consultation with you. Manufacturing defects that originate from the pack are not damage caused by RipHQ and are not a basis for cancellation or refund.
Final sales and refunds
A purchase becomes final when confirmed payment triggers allocation, whether or not you complete the visual reveal. Before allocation begins, cancellation may be available by contacting support.
Exceptions for failed allocation, duplicate charges, legal rights, or other approved circumstances are described in the Refund and Cancellation Policy.
Ownership and vault custody
Once a valid allocation is recorded, you own the allocated physical cards. Bangers LLC retains possession solely as custodian until shipment. Custody does not transfer ownership to Bangers LLC and does not make the vault display a security, token, or financial account.
Your use of custody is also governed by the Vault Custody Terms. Shipping requests are governed by the Shipping and Insurance Policy.
Prohibited use
You may not break laws; interfere with allocation or security systems; use bots, scraping, or automated purchasing without permission; submit false payment or identity information; abuse promotions or fraudulently obtain, transfer, or redeem RipCash, including through multiple accounts; attempt chargeback fraud; infringe intellectual property; access another account; or use RipHQ to launder funds or evade sanctions.
Third-party services
RipHQ relies on third parties for authentication, payments, hosting, media delivery, public randomness, analytics, monitoring, and shipping. Their services may be unavailable or governed by separate terms. RipHQ remains responsible only to the extent required by these Terms and applicable law.
Collectibles, warranties, and liability
Collectible values can change and estimates are not appraisals, investment advice, or promises of resale value. Except for express commitments in these Terms and rights that cannot be waived, the services are provided as available without implied warranties.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bangers LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. Any enforceable aggregate liability will not exceed the amount you paid for the transaction giving rise to the claim. These limits do not apply where prohibited by law.
You agree to indemnify Bangers LLC for third-party claims caused by your unlawful use, fraud, or material breach of these Terms, subject to applicable law.
Disputes, changes, and contact
Contact support first so the parties can attempt to resolve a dispute informally. Maryland law governs these Terms without regard to conflicts rules, except where your local consumer law controls. Claims may be brought in the state or federal courts serving Maryland, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
Bangers LLC may update these Terms prospectively and will provide notice of material changes. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance where allowed by law.
Bangers LLC may suspend or terminate access for fraud, security risk, legal requirements, nonpayment, or material breach while preserving your lawful rights in owned physical cards. Suspension or termination for cause may include forfeiture of promotional credits such as RipCash, except where prohibited by law. Notices may be sent to your account email.
